2013 Napa Valley Pinot Noir
Like all Lobo wines, this is from single vineyard fruit, 100% estate grown at one of our vineyards.
After being hand-picked and cold soaked on skins, the wine is aged for 11 months in 35% new French oak, primarily from Dargaud & Jaegle, Marsannay and Francois Freres.
The color is crystalline garnet. Aroma is strawberry and dark cherry, with hints of violets. Mouthfeel is round, with supple tannins. The flavors are full of bright fruit, with strawberry, raspberry and cherry, Toasted cream and spice show up on the lingering finish.
