Victoria Coleman- Winemaker

Victoria is a trailblazing winemaker, being the first black woman to  graduate from the UC Davis enology/viticulture program. She began her winemaking journey at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars as a production assistant to the winemaker, now the winemaker at Opus One. Upon graduating from Davis, Victoria was exposed to classic, Old World winemaking in 2008 when she worked alongside Erick Tourbier at first-growth Chateau Mouton Rothschild in Bordeaux, France. She also crafted wine in China between 2010 and 2020 and has made wine for other small family wineries in Napa. Victoria has the distinction of being the first black woman winemaker in the Napa Valley! She has produced the Lobo Cabernets since 2008 and now crafts all our red wines as well as our rosé. This year marks her 17th vintage for Lobo wines and her 20th anniversary as a winemaker!
